9H-Carbazole, 9-[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]- - Introduction
Is an organosilicon compound with the chemical formula C23H29NO3Si. Its properties are as follows:
1. Appearance: colorless or light yellow liquid.
2. Melting Point:-50 ℃.
3. Boiling point: About 300 ℃.
4. Relative density: About 1.04.
5. Insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ether, alcohol, etc.
The compound has the following main uses:
1. Surface treatment agent: It can be used as an organosilicon coupling agent to improve the bonding performance between organosilicon and inorganic materials, and to improve the surface activity and durability of materials.
2. Functional materials: Due to its carbazole-based structure, it can be used as a precursor for luminescent agents, catalysts or electronic materials in some materials.
3. Chemical reagent: It can also be used as a chemical reagent to act as a catalytic or functional compound in some organic synthesis reactions.
The preparation method mainly includes the following steps:
1.3-carbazole propionaldehyde is reacted with triethoxysilane in an organic solvent.
2. Heat the reaction mixture to a certain temperature to allow the reaction to occur.
3. Further processing of the reaction product, such as distillation purification or crystallization separation, to obtain the target product.
As with the safe use and storage of chemicals, pay attention to the following safety precautions when using the ceramic:
1. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, such as contact should immediately rinse with plenty of water, and seek medical attention.
2. Wear appropriate protective gloves, safety glasses and protective masks when using.
3. Store in a cool, ventilated place, away from fire and oxidant.
4. Do not mix with acidic or alkaline substances.
5. If accidental leakage, corresponding measures should be taken to deal with, such as sand and other absorbent adsorption, and put into a sealed container for proper treatment.
